Rome (Fides News Agency) - Pope Francis’s ambitious 4-country pilgrimage, September 2-13, will include countless, colorful encounters as young countries greet the pontiff and he, in turn, seeks to inspire people and leaders in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste, and Singapore.
The pope’s diplomatic priorities—and accomplishments—will be on display throughout the journey, especially his commitment to interfaith dialogue, a leitmotif of this pontificate.
One way to view this mission thematically is through the four fascinating principles Francis outlined in Evangelii Gaudium (217-237),[1] because each country he visits exemplifies one of his principles: unity prevails over conflict, the whole is greater than the part, time is greater than space, and reality is superior to ideas.

Reality is better than ideas, which would have to be secular because otherwise they would be a part of reality. Hence, reality is better than ideas.

Why can't the idea of a truly Catholic state become a reality; instead of recognizing an atheist, communist state as a reality that we must accept. What is wrong with the idea of Catholic China, rather than recognizing what it is today?

“reality is superior to ideas” is something he should double and triple down on. It comes from the brilliant Blaise Pascal. Liberals live in abstract fantasy land. Their bizarre ideas: An unborn baby is not a human being. There’s a right to murder an unborn baby. Two members of the same sex can be married. Gender can be changed. These ideas must be countered with concrete ideas using concrete words, no euphemisms. The recent Democrat Convention was a display of mental illness. Killing babies. Rainbow symbols. Doesn’t the Bible tell us to confront foolish ideas?

Very few turn from a personal relationship with Christ to the "Catholic Church" (sic) for their hope...
While MANY leave the "Holy Roman Catholic Church" (sic) after they trust Christ for their eternal salvation.
