God gave man free will.
The freedom to make mistakes, to move away from God.
That freedom still exists. Abortion is a move away from God, a choice of dubious morality in every case.
However no one should be making that choice for everyone else from the moment of conception.
Live your own conscience. Strive to waken that awareness in others. Laws are compromises and they set the boundaries. Work to change the laws in your state not to impose your values by fiat.
Does the same hold true for those who choose to engage in pedophilia, in mutating the genitals of their children, for those who choose polygamy, for those who choose to abuse and torture animals, for those who choose to engage in incest ....
License is not liberty. Prohibition, restraint and allowance in law(s) reflect a society's moral beliefs. Because we have states that legalize abortion does not make abortion right.
In this case, however, it is an innocent baby that is given no choice whether to live, or to die a brutal death inside their mother's womb. In addition, many fathers of these murdered children have no say in the matter as well. Even the mother, if she is being kept ignorant of the facts, is being kept from making a free choice.

ALL laws are the imposition of values on those who must obey them. Even working "to change laws in your state" is an exercise of this.
