Joseph saved Egypt, so Egypt welcomed his people, the Jews. Centuries passed and Egypt forgot Joseph; now, the Jews had become a threat. Pharaoh decreed death for Hebrew baby boys.
But God has not forgotten His chosen people, and He has a special job for one of those baby boys: just as He had raised up Joseph to rescue Israel, so now He raises up Moses.
