Bergoglio just granted an audience to the Superior General of the Institute of Christ the King.

I find the timing of this audience suspicious since this was the first year that the ICK has joined the Chartres Pilgrimage. Did Bergoglio think the ICK went to far in joining Catholics who had “all sorts of psychological and sociological problems”?

I doubt Chartres even came up. Bergoglio is the ultimate Peronist. He says and does whatever suits the moment. The ICK priests can show up for an audience, and it can be all smiles and hugs and levity. And then two weeks from now, he could stab them in the back.
