As a pagan he would not have understood an Old Testament appearance of Christ, such as occurred to Abraham in Genesis 18. But he understood enough to believe that God had “sent His angel and delivered His servants who put their trust in Him” (v. 28).

Yet, read what Nebuchadnezzar said after 7 years of living among the beasts, when his hairs grew like eagle’s feathers and his nails like bird’s claws. Do you think it’s possible, the words of Nebuchadnezzar, might be the words of true repentance and faith? I am the eternal optimist. Maybe he will be among the men of Nineveh, and the Queen of Sheba, who will rise in judgement over this generation, and condemn it. I do not know, but I am sure we will find out.
