I wouldn’t say that. It was awesome right up to the “Little James” episode where Jesus wouldn’t heal James and told him to basically “suck it up.” Right up to that point, I found nothing unscriptural about anything.
Indeed, the portrayal of Matthew as kind of an autistic guy was excellent and made perfect sense.
