Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem

Our Father,
Thank You For Your Provision and for Your Grace.
You Are Excellent!
Everlasting, Immortal, Eternal, and Infinite,
We Tremble in Awe as we Behold your Wonder and Glory.
The Angels Surround Your Throne
And Sing of Your Excellence Day and Night.
The Whole World is Full of Your Glory
Thank you Father, For letting us know You.

We pray for the Repentance, Restoration, and Renewal of Our Beloved Nation.

Let all that has been Concealed
Be Revealed.

Father, We Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Pray That You Will Forgive The Sins
of Our Own Nation,
and Lead us all to Godly Repentance.
Create in Us Clean Hearts, Oh LORD,
and Renew a Right Spirit Within Us.

This we Pray Together,
As We Await Your Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Set Up His Kingdom,
And Make All Things Right.

God Bless America.

Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem

b>The Names and Titles of God (The Only Wise God) 1 Timothy 1:17

17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

King James Version

________________________

Ideally, a High IQ should be accompanied by Wisdom, but it doesn't always work out that way. A brilliant scientist may be unlucky in love, and then falls in love with a student half his age. A musician who dazzles audiences with his artistry gets involved with drugs and ruins his career. A Sports Star can't refrain from gambling, and is denied a place in the Hall of Fame. An A-List Movie Idol goes through seven husbands and remarries one she divorced earlier. Military Men betray their Country for a few dollars, Friends betray each other for even less, and on and on. Intelligence, Talent, Expertise, and Skill do not equal Wisdom. In fact, Wisdom is often found in the most unlikely places, like in the offhand remark of a child.

Wisdom is also not found in Personality. A kind, sincere, grandma may be vulnerable to people who prey upon her and leave her penniless. This kind of lack of wisdom is called credulity, or even naivety, and can leave a person devastated for trusting too much.

That doesn't mean that one must be cynical in order to be wise. There is a big difference between being a "Wise Man" and being a "Wise Guy".

Those are some of the things that Wisdom is NOT. Here is a Dictionary Description of what Wisdom is: Wisdom.

Not one of the definitions offered involve College Degrees, Higher Education, Wealth, or even Age.

Wisdom can't be acquired with money or by force. One either has it or one doesn't.

Wisdom is such a unique quality, that the Ancients had a whole separate god or goddess in charge of it. In the Greek Pantheon, it was Athena, the Romans had Minerva, and the Ancient Egyptians had Thoth, who was pictured as a Scribe (indicating that the Wisdom of the Ages was available if written down, perhaps?) The Egyptians also equated Isis and Ma'at with Wisdom, so, apparently it was too big for just one deity. The big snag in Polytheism is that, if one god is in charge of this, and another goddess in charge of that, those deities are limited in their scope and power. Also, remember, all those deities have Origin Stories. That means that, there was a time when they didn't exist. Some of these deities have End of Life Stories as well, like Ragnarok in Norse Mythology, which means "The Twilight of the Gods".

Today's Name "The Only Wise God", says a lot.

In Paul's Doxology, he opens by emphasizing the Eternity of God, and His Immortality. There is no Morning or Twilight, no Origin Myth or Ragnarok with Him. He just IS.

Next, Paul speaks of His Invisibility. Like the Atoms that make up our Universe, we don't have to see Him to know He's there (Jehovah Shamah, God is There). He is not to be depicted as we would like to create Him in our own image. He created it all in the first place.

Finally, Paul Calls Him The Only Wise God. Such Power, Might, Strength, and Virtue would be unbalanced if it weren't for His Wisdom. Even Love without Wisdom can be disastrous.

And so, we have this little prayer that gives us a glimpse into the Eternal Mind of God.

Tomorrow we will look at a new Name (or Title) that was given to a Baby by Some WISE Men.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open. (Mark 4:22)

God Bless America.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen
