He’s not eating his words. It’s classic gaslighting! It’s entirely different than eating one’s words. It’s intentional. When are people going to wake up?!
The purpose is to get you to think you’re crazy and that you can’t trust what your own eyes and ears tell you, that you must be missing something fundamental. So you don’t trust yourself or your judgement.
