We know that Pope Bergoglio is obsessed with the idea of chatter. Every time he meets priests and nuns he brings up this concept. He did it countless times and, punctually, he did it again in the house of the Pious Disciples of the Divine Master nuns, where on Wednesday he met seventy-two priests from the diocese of Rome (more than one hundred and fifty had been invited) ordained in the last ten years . It is not difficult to imagine the multiple problems of these priests in a metropolis like Rome. Yet the Pope, their father and pastor, found nothing better than to warn them against chatter, a warning that arises from his obsession.
In this case he added that "chattering is something for women", a concept that would not even deserve to be taken into consideration if it had not been expressed by the Pope in front of an audience of priests.
After the "faggot", here's another shameless one. The recipients of the first were the Italian bishops, of the second the priests of Rome. It's not a casuality. And these are not just sad manifestations of galloping senility. Bergoglio always knows what he says, why he says it and to whom he says it. But then Bergoglio said something else: “What there are in the diocese are corruption problems, I'm clear. Corruption problems. I try with the auxiliary bishops to find solutions to this, to resolve. Last week I received information: this is problematic, this is problematic."
The accusation is serious. And at this point the Pope, bishop of the diocese of Rome, should clarify. What are you talking about? What corruption is he talking about? From whom? Under what circumstances? Imagine the effect of these words on the priests he was addressing. The life of priests is already not easy, and here the Pope makes insinuations about "corruption" in the diocese. With what spirit will those priests return to their parishes and their mission? And when the Pope speaks like this, in an indeterminate way, what is he doing if not chatting?
Once upon a time, dealing with the Pope and the Vatican meant, despite the diversity of ideas and positions, rising from an intellectual and spiritual point of view. Now he means stooping to the lowest levels, in a sea of triviality, meanness and squalor.
The accusation is serious. And at this point the Pope, bishop of the diocese of Rome, should clarify. What are you talking about? What corruption is he talking about? From whom? Under what circumstances?
