A suspicious detail in a pastor husband's interview filmed days after his wife died has raised speculation amongst internet sleuths.
Mica Miller, 30, was found dead at Lumbee River State Park in North Carolina on April 27 from a self inflicted gunshot wound.
Her death came days after serving her husband John-Paul Miller, 44, with divorce papers following a tumultuous relationship.
Miller gave an interview with ABC15 just days later while wearing a necklace similar to the one his wife was frequently pictured in.
During the interview, Miller breaks down in tears saying: 'She was the greatest wife anyone could ever ask for. We spent every night together just talking and talking.'
Images taken at a pawn shop prior to her death show Mica purchasing a gun, wearing a similar necklace.
Online sleuths seem to suggest that the two necklaces are one and the same and that he was wearing the exact necklace she was last seen in.
It has lead to speculation online about how he may have come about obtaining the necklace.
In the days after her death, her friends and family held a rally calling for 'justice for Mica' outside the Solid Rock Church where Pastor Miller worked.
The pastor stunned his congregants last week when, after a service in which he had laughed and appeared entirely at ease, he announced that his wife had died.
Miller, who has a criminal record including multiple counts of aggravated assault and battery to which he pleaded guilty, told his congregation that her death was 'self-induced.'
'You all know she wasn't well mentally and that she needed her medicine and it was hard to get to her,' he said.

“You really think it’s “a bunch of white liberal man hating bitches” are what’s driving this?”
Yes.
“Women who are pregnant and women who are separated are very much at risk for being injured or killed. There’s a lot of data. I know/knew two women who died under suspicious circumstances. One was killed and found in the trunk of her car and the other somehow drowned in the swimming pool - even though she was a good swimmer.”
Great. Absolutely none of that information has even an iota of bearing on whether or not “this man” is guilty of murder.
Prosecuting him in the media and trying to force a DA to bring unsubstantiated charges would be a travesty of justice.
It’s happening to President Trump and it’s wrong no matter who it happens to.
Of course it has bearing. It's statistically usually the abusive spouse.
NASCAR driver Dick Trickle did the same thing before committing suicide.
He went to a cemetery, sat down beside his truck, called 911 and explained that he was going to commit suicide and told them where in the cemetery they could find his body.
Trickle had been suffering from severe chronic pain for years. Doctors could not pinpoint the cause of the pain. When he couldn't take it any more, he killed himself.
All of it
This is reminding me of the buzz generated by that Florida couple who went on a van tour out west, and the girlfriend never made it back home.
I hope like hell you’re not a DA.
Wow! You sound like you could be one of his adoring cult members.
You must be a gun nut with that handle of yours. So if there’s a shooting in your neighborhood you should go to jail for it, right?
I don’t know but I can tell you this more will come out on this.
This story won’t end well I have a bad feeling about it.
I’m a Pro-Amendment woman. Wouldn’t consider myself a “gun nut’ or whatever derogatory name you’re trying to call me. I simply believe in protecting my constitutional rights.
You’re missing or dodging my point. Profiling people is not how you prosecute people. Not at all.
I am not defending John Paul Miller. I am defending due process. You should too lest you be hoist by your own petard.
