A suspicious detail in a pastor husband's interview filmed days after his wife died has raised speculation amongst internet sleuths.
Mica Miller, 30, was found dead at Lumbee River State Park in North Carolina on April 27 from a self inflicted gunshot wound.
Her death came days after serving her husband John-Paul Miller, 44, with divorce papers following a tumultuous relationship.
Miller gave an interview with ABC15 just days later while wearing a necklace similar to the one his wife was frequently pictured in.
During the interview, Miller breaks down in tears saying: 'She was the greatest wife anyone could ever ask for. We spent every night together just talking and talking.'
Images taken at a pawn shop prior to her death show Mica purchasing a gun, wearing a similar necklace.
Online sleuths seem to suggest that the two necklaces are one and the same and that he was wearing the exact necklace she was last seen in.
It has lead to speculation online about how he may have come about obtaining the necklace.
In the days after her death, her friends and family held a rally calling for 'justice for Mica' outside the Solid Rock Church where Pastor Miller worked.
The pastor stunned his congregants last week when, after a service in which he had laughed and appeared entirely at ease, he announced that his wife had died.
Miller, who has a criminal record including multiple counts of aggravated assault and battery to which he pleaded guilty, told his congregation that her death was 'self-induced.'
'You all know she wasn't well mentally and that she needed her medicine and it was hard to get to her,' he said.

Could they have had matching necklaces?
“...just one more thing...”
He dressed up like her to purchase the gun. Slam dunk.
“Once there she called 911 to provide instructions to a dispatcher on where her body could be found.”
What does this mean?
You can’t tell much detail from those photos.
Or her personal effects have been return to him as next of kin and he’s wearing her necklace.
Don’t know what happened but wonder if this will end up on the “48 Hours” types of shows. People are so stupid. They don’t seem to know that their Internet searches and phones can be tracked and that there are cameras everywhere. Police can also read facial expressions and body language and know how to ask questions that can trip people up.
“Online sleuths seem to suggest that the two necklaces are one and the same and that he was wearing the exact necklace she was last seen in.”
If he ends up charged with her death he better hope none of those idiots get in the jury pool.
The pastor knows there’s plenty others like Mica out there, and she was dispensable. Next!!!
She committed suicide, just by knowing Mica, and the homicide turned suicide, because Miller needed for it to be so. She was just a trophy wife and trophies can be bought and dispensed of easily. Some pastors are only there for the benefits to them.
This case smacks of a bitch hunt to me.
Meaning that a bunch of evil, white liberal man hating bitches want this man’s scalp and no matter what he says or does he’ll be guilty in their eyes and they want their pound of flesh.
I hope the DA involved waits on actual evidence instead of pressing charges just to please a bunch of shrill, hormonal harpies.
Say what now?
Not sure when preachers started becoming rich as well as sleazy, oily, TV celebrities, I think it started with Jim and Tammy Bakker back in the 1980s, but it's not a trend that makes me want to go back to church, that's for sure.
Now when I was growing up, we had Billy Graham and his Crusades on the TV. But he did seem like a humble and reserved man for the most part.
Nowadays, these TV preachers are not much different than those old-time carnival barkers, or those late-night commercials selling cheese slicers and food processors that work great on TV but break when you get them at home.
You really think it’s “a bunch of white liberal man hating bitches” are what’s driving this?
Women who are pregnant and women who are separated are very much at risk for being injured or killed. There’s a lot of data. I know/knew two women who died under suspicious circumstances. One was killed and found in the trunk of her car and the other somehow drowned in the swimming pool - even though she was a good swimmer.
Except the police reported that a call was placed to them, allegedly by Mica herself, stating she was at the park and was about to shoot herself. HOWEVER, another woman could have made that call. Do the police have a recording of that call? Surely Mica’s voice has been recorded in the past. If they did not record the call, her husband may just get away with it. So far, he sounds like a psychopath...or is it a sociopath?
She called 911 and told them she was about to kill herself.
Either she called 911 or someone impersonating her did. Seems a little weird to file for divorce and then commit suicide, but if she was mentally ill, anything could be possible.
This story stinks. Occam’s Razor, it’s always the abusive spouse.
If I were a parent, I don’t think I could go to work, even for an hour or two, and leave my grieving children at home on the day after the other parent’s death..
