“Principal’s photo explains the problem.”
Is that a man or a woman?
Hmmmm. Adolf Hitler and Heinrich Himmler?
Singing a nice, old American song is "overtly racist" now?
I see you have adopted the opposition's terminology (the first step in losing an argument).

The Catholic Church is large enough that if you are chronically embarrassed by anything attributed to one of your fellow Catholics you are either going to need to find a shrink or a Baptist Church in the present day and age.
That said, at least one of the original twelve had major problems. Peter thought he was an awesome fisherman and sometimes thought he could walk on water . . . and rumor has it was skipping out of Rome when he wasn’t supposed to. Who would be willing to be caught dead with that guy.
Al Jolson in blackface, singing "Mammy" in The Jazz Singer, 1927, the first talking picture.
Yes. That would be considered racist today.
In today's America, affirming the mere existence of races can be considered ray-cist.

But where does the $1 million come from?
From taxpayers.
Not the guilty parties.
If it was a public school the money would come from the taxpayers and might be a bit of a jolt so they start paying attention to who the heck they are hiring.
98% of the problems in the country could be solved if people would keep the eye they should on their employees.
“I wonder how much of that the lawyers will be paid, and how much of the remaining will be taxed.”
Standard contingency is 1/3 (though it can vary, or need not be a contingency at all). So they’d get $667k. Caveat that I’m not an accountant, but generally court judgments aren’t taxable unless they are for something that would have otherwise been taxable. For instance, a judgment for unpaid wages is taxable, but a judgment for personal injury isn’t. This sounds like it falls into the not taxable category.
“They look more like characters from Star Trek than black face. Their faces are hunter green.”
Yea the “Orion Slave dancers”. Those chicks were exotic and green.
