Another video by Pastor John MacArthur
This one from 4 years ago
It's pretty good
I do not believe that the Man of Lawlessness will be a homosexual
"The Desire of Women" is that every Jewish girl would like to have been the mother of the Messiah (some versions have such as a comment)
Now this is pre-trib - those who don't care for that will perhaps not care for this video
There has always been "the spirit of antichrist" since Jesus walked this Earth. There have been many "antichrists" (by spirit and works).
There will be a final Antichrist - the False Messiah that rules the world - along with the "religious" False Prophet

1) What with the surveillance state we see being implemented,
2) the push towards a cashless society and one world currency,
3) biochipping already being done for animals, and being pushed for children
I don’t know how anyone can miss what’s happening in the world - there are amazing technological achievements - and they will be exploited
Judge MacArthur or any other man by his works and deeds and not those of his ancestors.
I generally like MacArthur but I don’t buy his dispensational eschatology.
The word Antichrist never appears in Revelation.
Yep.
And “Trinity” never appears in the Bible. Not even once.
But the Trinity is taught. John includes the term Antichrist in two epistles he wrote and specifically excludes it from the book of revelation which he also wrote/
(is taught.)
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
New International Version
3 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the Man of Lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction.
4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

That sounds like the pope.
Classically, that was a viewpoint of certain people - Charles Spurgeon (1834-1892) for example, due to the Inquisitions
Of course that was way before Israel had come into existence once again - a thing deemed impossible except by Bible literalists
I don’t see what that has to do with the identity of the man of lawlessness.
I addressed your #48
That was the belief back then 🤔🤔🤔
Just watch as events unfold is all I can day.
Everything you state seems reasonable.
But my point is I think there’s a good chance John McArthur himself is a Freemason.
