Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem

Our Father,
Who Art in Heaven,
Blessed Be Your Glorious Name Forever!
We Come Into Your Holy Presence With Praise and Singing.
For You Alone Are Worthy,
You Alone Are LORD,
You Alone Are The One True God of Abraham!
Ancient of Days,
Rock of Ages,
LORD of Hosts,
Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent,
You Know the end from the beginning,
And the beginning from the end.

Let all that has been Concealed
Be Revealed.

Father, We Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Pray That You Will Forgive The Sins
of Our Own Nation,
and Lead us all to Godly Repentance.
Create in Us Clean Hearts, Oh LORD,
and Renew a Right Spirit Within Us.

This we Pray Together,
As We Await Your Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Set Up His Kingdom,
And Make All Things Right.

God Bless America.

Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem

The Names and Titles of God (The Arm of the LORD)

Isaiah 51:9

9 Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the Lord; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon?

King James Version

Many Cultures and Religions have stories about Dragons. From Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia to China, Europe, and Asia. Dragons loom large in our Language, Culture, and Art.

Modern Authors like J.R.R. Tolkien, George R.R. Martin, and J. K. Rowling, all have Dragons in their stories.

One of the most popular games of the last century was Dungeons and Dragons. Some of these depictions of dragons invite controversy. Others are just plain fanciful.

There are even various lizards and reptiles that have "dragon" in their names, the most ferocious of which is the Komodo Dragon, who is reported to be SO NASTY, that even their saliva is poisonous from disgusting microbes. Eyew. (Modern Science disputes this).

In Western Art, the dragon is depicted as being defeated by a Knight in Shining Armor. This can be either St. George or the Archangel Michael. In Christian Symbolism, the dragon is the "Adversary" or "Satan".

The dragon appears in the Old Testament as well, and sometimes thought to be a crocodile. That may be, but the dragon in Scripture seems to be a lot bigger and more wicked than even the very scary denizen of the Nile.

The dragon doesn't come up much in the the New Testament until we get to the last one...The Book of Revelation. In John's Vision he sees an enormous dragon in the heavens, and an epic battle between it and the Archangel Michael.

The dragon has just menaced the "Woman clothed in the sun", who has just given birth.

The Passage has caused centuries of discussion, even pointing to an alignment of planets and constellations that took place in September of 2017.

Here we are, in the 21st Century, and we are still talking about dragons! The mystery is solved as to the identity of this ancient symbol, just a little further down in Revelation Chapter 12:

9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

And so, we know that the Dragon is defeated. St. George couldn't do it, and neither could Michael, even with legions of angels. It takes God Himself to totally defeat the dragon, and here in Isaiah, He is Named "The Arm of the Lord." Later, in Isaiah 53, The Arm of the Lord is further identified as The Messiah.

This shows the incredible continuity of the Bible from beginning to end.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open. (Mark 4:22)

God Bless America.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen
