Daniel 9:27 with the Two Witnesses of Revelation Added
Daniel 9:27 is always read and studied without the interjection of the MIGHTY Two Witnesses of Revelation; who will wield all power and Divine authority in the first half of the seven year tribulation; after the Rapture of the Church (the Called out Assembly of the Risen Lamb); leaving these Two out of this biblical equation is total folly and will produce a limited understanding of that time; Be objective, biblical, Jewish minded and Dispensational as you read the study below;

Daniel 9:27/ Revelation 11
27 And he (the Prince) shall (will) confirm (mightily strengthen - gabor) the covenant (the pending pledge, agreement between two sides or parties, treaty of common interest between two; starting the 7 year tribulation period and the 70th week of Daniel) with many (an “abundance” of peoples (not nations) from all nations including Israel for a godless confederacy) for one week (one week of seven years): and at this same time the Two Witnesses of Revelation will begin their POWERFUL global Divine 1260 day ministry in RIGHTEOUSNESS and set up the Levitical sacrificial system and altar sacrifices which will point back to Yeshua’s RIGHTEOUS Person and Work (the Lamb) and His completed redemption in RIGHTEOUSNESS - Rev. 11)
and (after the Two Witnesses of Revelation’s DIVINE 1260 day global ministry - Rev. 11:3-7) in the midst of the week, he (the Prince; whose deadly wound was healed; will now be known as, and identified as, the wild beast; who now will be possessed by the Beast of the bottomless pit ) shall (execute the Two Witnesses and Lampstands/Olive Trees of Almighty God and then he will) cause the sacrifice (the act of sacrifice) and the oblation (the offering itself pointing to the Finish Work of Yeshua re-establish by the Two Witnesses), to cease (and in the ceasing of the ways pointing to ETERNAL LIFE through the Lamb Yeshua; shall he now institute his global 666 program, all for the purpose of ETERNAL desolation, damnation and defiance of all of earth’s remaining inhabitants) and for (the sole single purpose of ETERNALLY blacking out all Divine LIGHT of ETERNAL salvation in Yeshua and) the overspreading of abominations (wings of covering and protection of all that is ETERNALLY godless, lawless and ALL of its ETERNAL destructive fruits which leads to ETERNAL DEATH) he (the prince who’s deadly wound was healed and then possessed by the Beast from the bottomless pit) shall (will) make it (the altar) desolate (waste for just 42 months), even until the consummation, (to the end and completion of his very very brief 42 month demonic vain reign of the beast) and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate (that what is to be, will be of all those of this period who rebelled, rejected, were unrepented and receive the Mark of the Beast and aline with full knowledge his ETERNAL demonic godless rebellion and spiritual suicide).
In conclusion;
All of the Two Witnesses of Revelation’s prophetic warnings and Divine Word of this period will be totally fulfilled and confirmed by the return of Messiah Yeshua and the beast’s demise and ETERNAL perdition.

Who are these two witnesses who will descend to Earth to preach and prophecy, as we pass them by on the way up to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Heaven in the “rapture” AKA the “great catching up” (1 Thess. 4:17) launching Daniel’s 70th Week AKA the 7-year Tribulation on Earth?
I believe it will be Moses with his works of drought, blood, and plagues representing the OT law, and Elijah with his works of fire, representing the OT prophets.
I believe they will be instrumental in all of Israel being saved (Rev. Chapt. 7, Rom. 11:26).
These two guys know they are going down to earth to minister towards Israel’s salvation for 3.5 years and then pay the price of being killed. A lot of grace needed to accept that mission but the glory exceeds the affliction.

[7-] And to anoint [c]the Most Holy.
It takes 2500 years for God to do all of that. That is why his word is called "the word of his patience" (Rev.3:10).

Wrong context; my friend if I understand where you are coming from rightly; it says it will be given; Rev. 11 states that all is well; etc; that is what the demonic world at that time thinks of the Lamb and His ETERNAL propitiation (1 John 4:8-10; they will chose ETERNAL desolation over ETERNAL LIFE; Rev13 etc; The altar will point back to teach the Jews and the world what Messiah did;
Yup. We seem to get how big God is, but we sometimes struggle with how personal and loving he is.
As far the the age of things, a lot of people get confused mixing up the age of man (which I believe the Bible says is about 6000 years), and the age of the earth and the heavens which seems beyond calculation.

They had a different view of Rome and Popish things than those today,too.
Never thought of that. Pretty cool. So much of what Jesus said while here on earth was for Israel, His lost wife. Later he sent the Holy Spirit in which we may be baptized and transformed and he sent Paul to reveal the incredible and transforming Gospel of the Grace of Christ mainly to the (mostly) Gentile church, now his Bride.
His word is fathomless. You can reach but will not find its depth. Rereading it, especially the NT, is like a treasure hunt finding new treasure every time around as we grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

I've sometimes wondered if the two witnesses in Revelation 11 are Judaism and Christianity. Both have had their days of power and influence. And if the 1,260 days in Rev. 11 are really 1,260 years, we might be talking about the 1,260 years since construction of the Dome of the Rock started (year 688) and Israel became a nation (1948).

I just try to think totally with a Jewish mindset and Bible perspective; that was cool that Jesus would throw that out there to Peter; it probably went right over his head like Messiah will be cut off; I’m sure it would have went over our heads as well,

Paul also, prophetically saying to the Jews, "Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it" (Acts 28:28).
But going full circle, how great is his love, grace, and mercy that sometime soon he will send his two light-bearing witnesses to preach and die for Israel's salvation.
