The last three years have wrecked the idea of "too comfortable." And, they are reminded every time they fill a gas tank, or buy groceries. No one is swallowing the new "we never had it so good" garbage the Regime is currently peddling.

The obesity rate is a handy barometer for civil war likelihood, in my opinion. If the poorest people are the most likely to be obese then there is very little chance of civil war, at least judging by history and observed human nature.
