The Deep State has decades of experience overthrowing countries by fomenting and orchestrating civil war. 'Start' something and have the government 'crackdown' with martial law and away we go.
The Deep State tried to get conditions for riots so Pelosi/Schumer could get the UN 'peace keepers' here. The UN is the 'friendly face of coup'. The UN offers to calm things down with temporary troops, which then hold the door open for permanent troops. Patriots trying to fight the UN are killed and described as insurrectionists.
If the Deep State can get civil war going, they gain the upper hand. Trump always pushed back on their attempts. The Oregon, Washington ChOP ZONE, and melee outside the White House were the Deep State trying to 'get it going'.
Trump's strategy is the rule of law, and keeping the civil war strategy out of the Deep States hands.

Part of the Deep state problem is that they are dealing from an outdated playbook. The old assumptions of an ignorant, unarmed and ultimately helpless population, and a loyal military, that will back the government, do not apply.

Re the US military, while Ovbama tried to create a Party loyal Pentagon, he apparently has never heard the word "fragging." Our hi-tech digital war toys require 50 reliable Party members for a mission. Tell some tech on the flight line that the plane is going to bomb his home town, and a hydraulic fitting might not get tightened.
