I’m familiar with the passage and concept.
I can’t think of any scenario where one is supposed to accept as fact something that requires you to shut down rational thought and should run away quickly from anyone who suggests you do.
Your facts and your rational thought may not be shared with other adults facts and their rational thoughts..
Problem is adults through the ages have proven the desire to rule and reign over those others that don’t share their views and facts and thoughts, instead of running away from them quickly.
Run away. Stand your ground.
