Well, you said something true for once. So is Martin Luther still in hell?
What nonsense. We’re not abandoning the Church, starting a new one, creating a schism , or starting a war.
You may have a fine knowledge of Scripture, but like your Heretical heroes, your understanding of it falls way short.
That’s what St. Padre Pio said.
And I happen to believe the saint.
I am not Catholic. You can keep that title, along with your politically active Pope and Vatican, your placing clergy between the congregants and God, your silly saints, and your fancy stained glass windows and incense.
One doesnt need any of that to know the Truth.
Some of your fellow RCs believe by wearing a man-made piece of cloth will save them from the hell-fire.
Talk about heretical beliefs.
Do you consider the Knights of Columbus as Catholic? My dad was a member and he let us know they had secret knowledge received from “The Virgin” that they couldn’t share with others.
Evasion always is.
THAT'S rich. A Catholic, a member of a church that has been in schism for over 1,000 years, finger pointing about someone else being *in schism*.
FWIW, thinking that *Protestant churches are *in schism* is another Catholic fabrication.
We are united in CHRIST, not religion, which God hates.
Then you don't need a pope and your whole hierarchy can come crashing down.
Knights of Columbus are definitely Catholic. Some of the most die hard ones I've known, and for the most part, some of the most arrogant and obnoxious.
Get back to your Jack Chick comic books.

Do you think there’s something wrong with them?
the Catholic Church is the path to Heaven, the only path.

“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” —Jesus Christ
And they want us to join their denomination!! LOL!!
Is Jesus coming soon?

Thank you for the truth.
You DO know, though, don’t you, that RCs put zero stock in Scripture? You’re spitting in the wind.
“...And we believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. ...” —Nicene Creed
That’s “catholic” with a small “c.”
“The word catholic means “universal.” The true “catholic” church is all those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation.”
The body of believers unified by Jesus Christ as head. Not a religion or physical building. https://www.gotquestions.org/universal-local-church.html
I can’t speak for all RC churches, but I was raised in the RC church until I was asked to leave. After that I was born again and saved by Jesus Christ. I know the RC church very well. I did learn a lot about the Word there, but we went off the rails in my church with praying to saints and worship of Mary. Since then I’ve seen off-the-rails non-Catholic churches as well. I’ve found it’s best to find a church based on the Word who is Jesus Christ without focus on religion, which is man-made. Today I attend a couple Bible-based non-denominational Christian churches were we focus on Lord Jesus Christ. It’s the best thing that ever happened for me. Of course no person is perfect, except Jesus. But it’s not about us. It’s about our Lord and Savior. And thankfully He loves us so much, unconditionally.
Which church—that is, which denomination of Christianity—is the “true church”? Which church is the one that God loves and cherishes and died for?

According to St. Padre Pio, Martin Luther is in Hell.

I like Padre Pio, but did he really say that? Maybe it was just an opinion. Or if he really did mean that, it’s just another example of an imperfect human being. As you know, only God knows the condition of a man’s heart—judgment of each of us belongs to Lord Jesus alone.
What does the Bible say about when God will judge us?

I hear ya! We moved to TN in 2010 and thought it would be easy-peasy to find a traditional (NOT off-the-rails) Baptist church. It’s Tennessee, for Pete’s sake! Have we been successful? Nope.
A couple weeks ago we began to check out a PCA (conservative Presbyterian) church, and like it a LOT! There are some basic theological differences from Baptist, e.g., they do infant baptism, but their sermons, service (very respectful, dignified, and traditional) — no CCM, no screens, no “worship group”, etc. — is how the Baptist churches used to be.
Not sure how far we’ll go with that, ‘cause I’m a Baptist P.K., and attended Baptist Seminary. But we’ll see...
