i could argue that judas was the first martyr for Christ.
knowing he did wrong, but suffering from the sin of self- condemnation.
God knows the heart of man... Judas was playing a major role in the expression of free will.
i expect to see judas walking the golden streets... if but from afar and if i can see over the wall.
Scripture argues otherwise.
Mathew 26:24-25
24 The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born.”
25 Then Judas, the one who would betray him, said, “Surely you don’t mean me, Rabbi?”
Jesus answered, “You have said so.”
