Christian Arabs didn’t welcome the Jews much more than the Muslim Arabs did. They just couldn’t have had the same triumphant world view that the Muslims did.

But Christian Arabs are a tiny minority of all Arabs, and they don’t look to Western Christians for politics or lectures on Christianity. Most of them have left the region because of strife.
If the author is a religious Jew, he believes Christianity is a blasphemy, a vile heresy. If he is non-religious, then Satan is a myth.
