“No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.”

It is coming, but the Bible itself makes clear that anyone pretending to know when is a charlatan. Live a righteous life and you will be ready. That is all a person should worry about.

Correct. But we should know the season.

Exactly right. You know what though, it seems that death is all around us more and more these days. You can't turn on the computer and browse the Internet, or read the news, without seeing so many deaths. It's scary, yet, we know where our salvation lies.

The problem with your statement is everyone stops at that verse. You need to keep going.

This. This. This. Full stop. Thank you.

Anyone who argues otherwise is a either a self-centered fool or a self-serving shyster.

Hard for the charlatans to make money on the truth, so they invent fairy tales

As predictable as the sunrise that someone’s first knee jerk reaction is to quote the verse about the day and hour.

And how many times do people have to repeat that nobody is claiming to know the day and hour before it finally sinks in to them.

But not knowing the specifics does NOT mean we can’t know the general that Jesus gave us LOTS of information on in Matthew 24.

What do you suppose Christ meant Mark 13:20-23

20And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days. 21And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:

22For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. ****** 23But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.******

24But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,

25And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.

26And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

No, I do not know the 'when', but I do recognize the players... and those that have bought the deception.
