“Little Egypt” is a name for southern Illinois, generally the part south of U.S. Highway 50. There isn’t any one town named Little Egypt.

And Mr. Brentner should know this, he grew up in Northern Illinois, Rockford, to be precise.
Time will tell on his prediction; wether this is God’s Plan or not, it will be interesting to see if it comes to pass.
We are also told to beware false prophets. This seems tailor made for apocalyptic predictions.
I know one thing for sure- if it does happen, it’s going to be disastrous.

There are several small towns in S Illinois that that Egypt connotations. Thebes and Cairo, for example. I drove through Cairo last year. The town is a disaster composed of run down buildings. General trashy in appearance.
