In a simple debate (let alone in a "court of law"), whoever asserts "A" is obliged to prove "A."

It is not incumbent upon the person questioning or disputing a slander to prove that it is false. Rather, it is incumbent upon the slandereraf_ (or anyone else chiming in on that slander, as you - alexander_busek - have done) to provide evidence supporting the slanderous assertion.

This may come as a shock to you honey, but people hold sincere beliefs that are diametrically opposed to your so-called sincerely held beliefs.

So your step-daughter is the genetic mother of the child, and the other woman was nothing more than the "incubator." Understood (now).

Then your step-daughter should have been at least as entitled to (partial) custody as, say, the divorced father in a comparable situation. Am surprised that she couldn't manage to get even visitation rights.

Interesting, that now even the term "biological mother" is no longer sufficient - that it is, rather, necessary to specify "related genetically" or "incubator," respectively!

I have slandered no one, nor have I "chimed in" on slanders perpetrated by anyone else.

Everyone has the right to be wrong. My prediction is that in 5 years, the majority of same sex weddings will be non-gay people.

There was a local guy who got divorced. In the settlement, he got the land where he hunted which had belonged to his father-in-law. They were in a hunting group. His wife always said she let him have it because she could get it back if he died. If he put it in the Will, she could contest it. He got cancer. His only option(he said) was to remarry so he decided to marry his hunting buddy. Fortunately or not, the cancer went into remission and the wife died.
