The sheep in 6 saying “hey, wait a minute! There are more of us than all the other creatures. What goes on here?” Lol
8 and 9 are my favorites- 11 is good too, but 8 and 9 give a sense of He massive task of gathering all the kinds from which all life kinds sprung after the flood.
massive task of gathering
"Pairs of clean and unclean animals, of birds and of all creatures that move along the ground, male and female, came to Noah and entered the ark, as God had commanded Noah." Gen. 7:8-9Certainly, God commanded massive tasks from Noah, but it seems like He helped Noah on this part.
Yeah I meant it was a massive task that God accomplished easily.
The more I learn about God’s works, the more astonished I am at the ease with which He does the impossible. I imagine our fuller awareness of His capability will provide much of the impetus for our eternal praise of Him
The best for me are all of Tissot and the stained glass window at #15, from a parish church in Kent, England.
Thank you, Dan.
Cannot go wrong with Tissot. I like that fenster, too.
Thank you, Alba.
β but it seems like He helped Noah on this part.β
I think the help was far beyond modestβ¦he made this small ark into a mini Garden of Eden, and a small view of the βNew Heaven and New earth.β All of the animals of creation gathered in peace with other, in the small enclave blessed by God. This is Garden imagery, not possible on the Earth of man, but only in a place where Godβs Heaven overlaps.
That had not occurred to me before. What a blessing to hear multiple mature voices contributing, something that Paul often encouraged.
only a remnant is saved
there is always a remnant
to be part of that remnant is both humbling and astonishing
sealed for His service
He picked YOU.
my brothers and I marvel at this
we were certainly not brought up in a Christian home
yet our desire to walk with the Lord is our strength
