Cultural poison of wokeness has become the rot and heresy of the age.
There is a Lutheran Church in my city that has a bunch of gay pride flags outside.
First, the professor/preacher cannot be as ignorant and stupid as he appears to be. Ergo, he is making of a pretty easily understood story what he wants it to mean rather than what it does in fact mean. In other words he is arrogant and self-impressed - always a great demeanor for a teacher.
Second, he is self-evidently not Christian himself.
Third, he is actively trying to lead into unbelief his own students.
Fourth, he is not remotely Lutheran.
Fifth, his denomination, the ELCA, is completely apostate in allowing such a fraud to teach in their seminary a quack such as he.
Sixth, the man is a quack, not a heretic. He is unfaithful enough to be a heretic, but not smart enough to be a heretic. His name will be lost not only to history, but he will find himself at the door knocking when Christ returns for judgment and will hear, “I never knew you.”
Seventh, ergo, his “sermon,” if such it can be called, is ironic to a degree that I doubt he himself grasps.
I'm glad we have someone here on Earth with the power to tally salvation. Does the author have a scoreboard for all denominations?
Not arguing that the ELCA is good, but it takes quite a bit of arrogance to post a score like that.
The pastor and I, on occasion, walk the streets of our small town praying for those in each house as we walk by. On this one occasion, this woman came running out of the house and got right up in our faces: “Just what in hell do you think you’re doing!!”
The pastor told her what we were doing and she said: “There’s no need for you to pray for this house. You, aren’t you the preacher on that little pentecostal church just outside of town?” He told her that he was. She said: “you’re all nothing but an obscure religious cult that is totally out of touch with mainstream America.” He was kinda taken back by that....almost dumbfounded.
Oh, I felt it rising up in me and said: “The Word of God is True”.
She scowled at me and said: “I’ve never seen you before. Who are you and where are you from? I answered: “It doesn’t matter who I am or where I’m from. I”m standing here right now to tell you personally that the Word of God is True. It is written: not one jot or tilde will pass away. ALL will be fulfilled. From the front cover to the back.”
She quickly backed way off and went into the house without a saying a word.
The pastor asked me where did that came from? I said; “The Lord”.
Come to find out, she’s the lesbian pastor of a local so-called church full of queers....LutherIn, IIRC.
