I believe that the church and ethnic Israel are separate entities being lunder divine covenants and that the church is not the new Israel. I also recognize that the Christian Right of the late 20th Century was largely led by dispensationalists like Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell. However, that movement largely focused on national politics and not rebuilding the culture from the bottom up. Had the energy spent in supporting the Bushes and various Republicans been spent in building Christian schools, alternatives to Scouting, and Christian colleges, we would be in a stronger position now.
