Grein was horrifically secually abused by Theodore McCarrick (who baptized him) from a very young age well into young adulthood. His bravery in standing up to McCarrick has been unparalleled in recent Church history. His example cannot be dismissed in the manner you seem to be suggesting, at least because he has displayed true masculinity and enormous moral courage. And he’s still doing so despite Voris cruelly and mindlessly adding to his plight.
And that is a VERY important point.
Yes. Mr Voris was and is a very flawed man, so much so that he makes a very poor spokesman for much of anything, and need very badly to get out of the spotlight (which has been done to him), and get right with Jesus.

Yes, there were and are some very bad people in the hierarchy ... all the way to the top ... and they need to be exposed. Mr. Voris' attempts to do that were very much the right thing to do, even if he is the wrong man to be doing them.
