Tell me more about Regis Martin ... I know nothing of him.
Used to be on EWTN a fair bit (I haven’t watched much lately; maybe he still is). Solidly orthodox theologian. Marian. Not a Scripture prof like Scott Hahn, but a dogmatician. Comes across as very thoughtful and deliberate in his speech.
I have seen him on EWTN and he’s an intellectual. You can see him thinking even as he talks. Everything I’ve ever read from him is solid, smart and interesting. He struck me as a potential St. Thomas More. An intellectual who would sacrifice his head in defense of the successor of St. Peter. If he would ask a Pope to resign, matters are becoming very serious and the silence and the “Nothing to see here, nothing has changed, move on” stuff cannot continue among the Cardinals, Bishops, priests and laity.
