Thoughts about Israel are something most people have had lately. Everyone is talking about Israel...and the Jews.
The reason they are talking about Israel is--wait for it--it's been in the news.
And where do people get their news?
The survey has the answer.
That's the reason people should never trust statistics. The way the questions are phrased, when they are asked, the actual persons asked (where, how old, gender, apparent erudition, attire)...
Polls are like laboratory experiments. If you can't go examine, assay, and/or confirm every minute detail of it, you can't trust it.
To some extent they can be overall reliable (only 3.4 percent of American journalists are Republicans ...) in some but as said, such are often inaccurate, sometimes on purpose (contrived stats: Survey Questions Used by USDA to Assess Household Food Security) as can the use of them.
