To continue,

We discussed earlier that the three lines of the letter beis -- two horizontal and one vertical -- represent three directions (or corners) of the earth. The north side, that which is open to evil, remains unresolved. With the arrival of Mashiach, the fourth side of the beis of Bereishis -- Creation -- is completed and the letter beis is transformed into a mem.24

ב
= 2

ם
= 600

The difference = 598, which *is* "about midnight" [כַּחֲצֹת הַלַּיְלָה, Exo 11:4, = 598].

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Round_number

The Gemara asks: Did David know exactly when it was midnight? Even Moses our teacher did not know exactly when it was midnight. How do we know this about Moses? As it is written that he said to Pharaoh: "Thus said the Lord: About midnight, I will go out into the midst of Egypt" (Exodus 11:4). The word about indicates that it was only an approximation.

>>>

David had a sign indicating when it was midnight. As Rav Aha bar Bizna said that Rabbi Shimon Hasida said: A lyre hung over David's bed, and once midnight arrived, the northern midnight wind would come and cause the lyre to play on its own. David would immediately rise from his bed and study Torah until the first rays of dawn.

The invisible "fourth wall" is the open side of the house [ב], the audience (the ones doing the observing):

"Typical stage, fourth wall being the house."

With the arrival of Mashiach, the fourth side of the beis of Bereishis -- Creation -- is completed and...

"On a mystical level, the number 600,000 is identified with the number of souls comprising the Nation of Israel. The Talmud teaches that the arrival of the Messiah will transpire when all these souls are 'complete'."

Endings and beginnings:

In 24-hour time, midnight is both 2400 and 0000, depending on context -- the end of the day, or the beginning.

The Torah ends with the 54th parsha, on "all Israel". The Torah begins with the 1st parsha, with the enlarged bet of Bereshith, "in the beginning". 54 joins to 1 (541 = "Israel") on Simchat Torah

“Israel” (ישראל) stands for yesh shishim ribua otiot l’Torah (יש שישים ריבוא אותיות לתורה), “There are 600,000 letters in the Torah.”

And...

The Talmud teaches that the arrival of the Messiah will transpire when all these souls are "complete."

ם

In the commentaries regarding the letter forms, I've never seen the final mem described as a dalet [ד] welded to a resh [ר]. Yet, that's exactly what it is.

David + Rachel [ד + ר]:

Although David is from the tribe of Judah the son of Leah, Rachel is his spiritual soul-root.
