Whether the subject is religion or politics, those with absolute (or close to absolute) power have a very high probability of becoming as corrupt as a Democrat.
Yes. Most leaders start out with good intentions. But the years in power corrupts them. One easy way to limit this corruption is to have term limits. Term limits for politicians. Term limits for church leaders. Term limits for union bosses. Etc.
Of course we’ll never see this happen.
