Probably the most often-used and controversial passage of Scripture by pro-ETH (extra-terrestrial hypothesis) UFOlogists is the account of “the sons of God” and their resultant offspring, the Nephilim. The description in Genesis 6:1–7 reads:
When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.

“Angels, spirits, don’t have tangible bodies “
They can have tangible bodies.
Hebrews 13:2 (KJV): “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.”
It wouldn’t be possible to entertain strangers if the strangers didn’t have tangible bodies.
The rocks were alive. I think Nephilim bodies are still strewn across the landscape of the world.

I love IDE Thomas. There are some great old videos of him discussing this issue.
To say nothing of Abraham (Fed angels), Lot (Was yanked into his house by angels) and others. Thus they can certainly interact with the physical world
Not only do they have physical bodies, they eat. Lot fed them a feast in Sodom and so did Sarah and Abraham.
You beat me by 27 seconds.;-)
Absolutely. The pervs were clamoring to have sex with angels. The pervs had to see their tangible bodies.
I forgot to mention, I have seen two of these dead Nephilim. One was called the sleeping lady, of West Texas. I could see it from the control tower at Laughlin AFB, Texas, where I worked. I watched it for almost 10 years. It was called the sleeping lady, because that is what it looked like, and I believe that is exactly what it is. The other one, was called the old man of the mountain, in New Hampshire. We could get within a few hundred yards or so. At first, I thought it looked like John F Kennedy. All we could see, was the head, and it was about 45 feet high. Later, an earthquake destroyed it, but I saw it close up. Some of these dead bodies, are utterly gigantic. Maybe they were the Titans. 😁😆😂

“Sons of God” refers to ANY Being which is directly created by God.
All of the angels are Sons of God because He directly made them.
Adam and Eve were Sons of God because He formed them from the earth and breathed life into them.
Humans are NOT considered Sons of God, rather we are considered Sons of Adam. We were PRO-CREATED, and as such are not directly created.... That is of course, until we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior...
When we give our lives to Jesus, the bible says the God CREATES a NEW CREATURE in us... set aside and sealed by the Spirit unto the day of redemption. It is at this point that WE DO become “Sons of God” because God directly creates us as new beings. That process will be completed when we are given new bodies at the rapture.
Genesis 6 refers to fallen angels who deliberately left their spiritual habitat (assumed physical form) to corrupt the human genome and interfere with God’s plan for man... namely the prophecy He gave concerning the woman’s seed. This plan almost worked... forcing God to destroy the earth by flood and starting all over again with Noah’s family.
Demons are disembodied spirits of these angel/human hybrids... they are not sons of God, nor can they be. They are not as physically/spiritually capable as their angelic ancestors because of their human limitations (they can be killed) This is what differentiates demons from fallen angels.
According to Josephus, a first-century Jew who was alive during the destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans, they believed angels had children with human women.
"For many Angels of God accompanied with women, and begat sons that proved unjust, and despisers of all that was good; on account of the confidence they had in their own strength. For the tradition is, that these men did what resembled the acts of those whom the Grecians call Giants."
Absolutely. That is one thing I always wondered about. Was this a one way street? Did the fallen angels pursue women, or did women also pursue fallen angels too. Did the women say, oh goody, I get to have sex with a fallen angel tonight? I don’t know. I would say it’s possible they shape shifted and appeared as men. They might even have shape shifted to look like their husbands. I just don’t know, but these are some of the ideas that float around my mind. 😁 The fallen angels may very well have been sexually aroused by human females, but I think they were trying to mess up the human gnome and thwart the royal bloodline, from which Jesus was to be born. Jesus could not be born from a soulless, unredeemable Nephiim woman. The implication is, Satan came within an eyelash of succeeding, since only 8 people survived the Flood. I don’t know for sure, but It might imply that every person on earth was infected with Nephilim DNA, so they all were killed in the Flood.
“The implication is, Satan came within an eyelash of succeeding,”
So ... “missed it by that much”?
God is in control, as He was then, so we’re good.
Thank you for the post. I agree with you. I think demons and fallen angels, though they may be evil as well, are not the same. I like the way Trey Smith put it. He said, not only do they hate you, they wanna BE you.
Any Christian worth their salt knows the sons of God of Genesis 6 were the fallen angels. Book of Jude. Noah and his family were the only progeny of Adam that had not polluted their bloodline. This was an attempt to again interfere with the bloodline to Christ ... their motto ... whatever it takes...
Christ said it would be again as the days of Noe ... so they are coming back along with their ‘Jesus’ coming to perform the rapture... This earth is the Heavenly Father’s and He does not give way to the devil and his preacher/priests. Christ said do not be deceived!
Yes, apparently someone didn’t get smart in that respect. 🙃😄
Bump for later.
He did indeed say that. Wasn’t that otherwise called the Olivet discourse?
