I can see no rational reason why the child couldn’t go to Italy. The members of this court are evil, vile creatures.
“Those that killed her will burn in hell for eternity.”
No one killed her. She died of an incurable disease.
“I can see no rational reason why the child couldn’t go to Italy.”
Going to Italy would continue the pain and suffering with zero chance of any recovery.
money and agendas
the poor family lacked the necessary connections
“What about the fact that it might help the next baby survive?”
What about the pain and suffering Indie would have to endure?
The Judges who ordered this all have addresses.
Just saying.
So do the doctors.
Just saying.

Judges, even here in the US, make such decisions when they deem the parents cannot make a good decision. I only pointed out that the judge in that case did not agree with the parent's desire to take the baby to Italy. I suppose the reason it went to a court in the first place was over the issue of transporting the baby out of the country. I do not know what experimental treatment the Italian hospital proposed or how the experts testified in court.
The result of “single payer” healthcare.
The reason is it was none of their business to do this...it is their child, you seem to think people are the wards of the state and they have ownership over all...I beg to differ.
I fail to understand why the UK government doesn’t allow these termilaly ill babies to get treatment in other countries especially when their care is not being paid NHS. Perhaps by letting one child do this it will expose how inadequate health care is in the NHS and open the floodgates for other Britons to seek care overseas
This is the question that strikes into the dark heart of the matter. Before Christendom and then Protestant America fell away from their Biblical foundations into new paganism, people had rights because they were image bearers of God. Thus, as the family was the smallest unit of society it had parental rights. Parents raised their children; the pagan state did not. Parents decided what was best for their children. Hospital death tribunals did not decide what was best for children. Nor did judges, school boards, teachers, and child welfare bureaucrats.
Where have our rights gone? They've been subsumed into the mystical pagan god-State. The god-state owns everything, including all humans
