Not only is unbelief in Gods Word as old as Eden, but the belief in the changing of life forms in the past to get what we find today is very old also. Anaximander (lived in 6th-5th century b.c. Greece) was reported by other philosophers to have hypothesized how life got to be by a primitive evolutionary explanation... Empedocles(4th century b.c.) had his own primitive explanation. And that view permeates our contemporary outlook. It is more sophisticated now, but with the obvious “metacomplexity”- if you will, of the organization, and reproductive capabilities of life colliding with the entropy of complex chemical systems makes the simple explanation hopeful, for the expositors, but untenable.
Absolutely agree.
