"The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."
Jesus called the Jews who rejected Him things like - "You are of you father the devil' - Jn 8:43 and 'You being to the synagogue of Satan.' - Rev 3:9 .
Liked non-Christian Jews, Muslims reject Christ as being Messiah and God. Muslims follow a false prophet. If a Muslim should become a Christian, he is saved from hell and no longer a Muslim. How any Christian church can say Muslims/Islam are in the plan of salvation is a lie. Muslims are not saved but damned. Why doesn't the CC speak the truth on this point? Jesus didn't mince words with the religious Jews who rejected Him; neither should His church.
