Even saints with the greatest of charisms can guess wrong on who sits on the Throne of Peter in times like these (e.g. St. Vincent Ferrer). Preach the Faith, Prayer, Penance, Sacraments, stay in the State of Grace, and God’s Plan will come to fruition. These times are unprecedented, and priests and bishops who are being attacked by the Vatican for doing so deserve our prayers and compassion. There’s enough of the obvious heretic type (who also need our prayers) to get too worried about the good men who don’t follow our exact approach to things.
