Heh, and I’m getting castigated on another thread for saying that there are problems endemic in Catholicism that allowed Vatican 2 and Pope Francis to be established in Catholics.
Catholics, being in denial as they are, see those things as the cause of the problems, instead of a symptoms of the rot that has been going on for a long time.
Neither V2 nor Francis would have gone anywhere if it weren’t for the Catholic hierarchy approving them, which means the problems are well entrenched in the hierarchy.

It is definitely a “symptom” (or end result) of the corruption and rot that has been ongoing for decades...
just as the case here in the US re: our government. This stolen election by Marxists stuff didn’t just happen overnight ...and was enabled by a cabal of equally corrupt “citizens” in government and in the private sector....ie voters.
We are just experiencing the end results of that ongoing corruption, just as the Catholic Church is currently experiencing. You’ve heard the term ‘comes to a head’? Well... we’re getting there... faster, it seems, than ever.
