Just like our bodies; how complex they are to work the way they do. No one can tell me this is a product of “ evolution”. Our bodies are way too complex to be the result of a cause and effect taking place over millions of years. Our human bodies were designed. Everything fits together perfectly. Sure, there are imperfections that creep in. Either we are born with them or some outside influence causes them. Some we live with our entire lives, some are potentially fatal. Even then, it’s a miracle that we survive as a species, even despite our best efforts at attempting to destroy ourselves.

That’s where the human mind comes in. It oversees all of our physical processes, and when the human mind starts functioning erratically, it affects everything else.

What can one do? I pray. I pray to the God that I believe created everything.
I blame Him for NOTHING. What happens to us on this Earth happens because of random acts, like the weather, acts of other humans, or through our own failings.

We aren’t puppets on a string, but I believe He is watching, He is taking names and writing down what we do. He will settle up with us later.

He didn’t give us Ten Commandments for nothing. Without them, we are not a Civilization.

Just to add- my faith is one reason that I am drawn to astronomy. Looking at the night sky from a dark site, how can one NOT believe that an intelligent Being, capable of Intelligent Design, had anything to do with this? It’s so majestic, I can’t help but believe that He WANTS us to investigate it, but we have to get our Act together here on this Earth. It’s the only way we can survive.

No one can tell me this is a product of “ evolution”.

Given that a major mutation in the genome is thought to take a million years or so, and the fact that the entire Universe is only about 13.8 Billion years old, that leaves room for only about 13,000 mutations in the history of the Universe. I am being generous with the timeline here for simplicity. The actual number is far fewer.

There is no physical possibility that evolution could bring nothingness, or even non-organic compounds, to our state of being today.

Just.

Not.

Possible.
