“Interesting that many an atheist has more faith in what they don’t believe than many Christians have in what they do” L.Star
Many an atheist simply chooses - in the face of puzzling circumstances and/or incomplete evidence - to suspend judgement and/or refrain from embracing one of the many competing "explanations" offered by the various different religious texts floating around out there.
The intellectually honest atheist simply declares: "Until I am presented with forensic-level evidence and sound, logical arguments, I will not adopt any stance on a given subject. Or, if I am building a space probe to Pluto or a microchip, I will adopt a provisional belief that is most compatible with actual experience (i.e., it works!). However, I will not adopt any worldview based upon the premise 'You just have to make a leap of faith - or suffer for all Eternity!'"
