Just something I've heard:

In Hebrew, 6 is Waw. In the table on the right side of the page, Waw in Hebrew looks an awful lot like a vertical bar to me.

Now combine that with the move to digital currency. So for "security," we might be asked or even ordered to get a bar code tattooed on us. Alternatively, we might be asked or ordered to get a chip implanted. The chip of course will include a digital fingerprint aka digital form of a bar code. This code will be needed to buy or sell anything.

Now imagin you are a shepherd and God shows you something like ||| ||| ||||||| |||| ||||||||||| etc.

That first part sure looks like Waw Waw Waw aka 666 to me.

Or is this a stretch? (I am no biblical scholar, but know some people here are.)
