From Isis through Cybele the early Christian church understood that the greatest danger to the Church would be the orgiastic sects that preyed on the weakness of men. Thus, to retain the sanctity of worship there was born that which the enemies of the Church have called its misogyny. Now, the wisdom of the ancients is superceded by the devilty of the moderns.
