Unfortunately, my experience has been that abortion was very seldom mentioned in church over the many years it has been legal. Don’t see that changing altho I wish it would. I truly believe that this is a big part of the reason we are where we are today because so many people don’t even think it is wrong.
Abortion is the price we are paying for “free love” that came out of the 1960’s.

Years ago at the local parish a friend told me that they don’t read Pro-Life petitions during the General Intercessions at Mass because they don’t want to upset the Pro-Choice parishioners. So many churches have such big budgets. So you end up hearing mush preached in order to keep the dollars ruling in. But if it isn’t saving souls what’s the purpose of a church? Too much comfortable Christianity in America. Jesus dealt with this in one question: “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?” -Mark 8:36
