We can't add much more right now, but talk is growing.
The SSPX leadership will obviously request Rome's approval, as Abp. Lefebvre himself requested in 1987/1988 (with unclear, then clear, results...), but what exactly will unfold is unclear at the moment.
We'll have more to add soon.

Good! I wish there was a parish closer than two hours away.
Technically, SSPX chapels aren’t parishes. They’re very careful to avoid setting up a parallel church. The goal is to supply the traditional Mass and sacraments
Consecrating new bishops is a good idea. The current 3 bishops won’t be around forever, and Rome under Bergoglio shows no sign of course -correcting anytime soon
All that is available in our area is the Novus Ordo. The Bishop takes a dim view of the TLM.
Good, we need them.
The Romans are, apparently, done being Catholic, so someone has to do it.
Pope Francis says half of marriages today are invalid. He's wrong.
And his pessimism is an insult to all believers
Pope radically simplifies Catholic marriage annulment procedures
Pope Francis on Tuesday made it simpler and swifter for Catholics to secure a marriage annulment, the most radical such reform for 250 years, and told bishops to be more welcoming to divorced couples.
Sorry to hear that. I’ve been lucky in California. Other than the deplorable, despicable McElroy, the California bishops have generally been unenthusiastic about being Bergoglio’s hatchet men for traditiones custodes.
