I've never heard that. That must vary from case to case.

I've heard of some cases of possession in which tiny women had such strength that they could throw big men and furniture across a room.

Of course, in Acts 19:16:

Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding. (NIV)

And the case of the Gerasenes man in Mark 5:3-4:

This man lived in the tombs, and no one could bind him anymore, not even with a chain.
For he had often been chained hand and foot, but he tore the chains apart and broke the irons on his feet. No one was strong enough to subdue him. (NIV)

However, as to the indwelling of a machine, a machine would make as much sense as a wooden, clay, or metallic idol/figurine, I guess. Other than in a few old movies, I've never seen or heard of examples of that.

It is more correct to say that evil spirit has trouble controlling small muscles such as are connected to eyes, lips, face, as was illustrated by Nefarious.

But control of the body in general seems to pose no problem as they can cause the possessed to exert supernatural strength.

In researching this issue just now I found very little information regarding supernatural strength although we know it occurs.

With respect to robots and AI the proper term seems to be infestation rather than possession. Evil spirits can infest all manner of things from forests, machines, Ouija boards, talisman, buildings, and so on, so will have no trouble with Artificial Intelligence and robots.
