"As much as Catholics and Protestants fight like dogs and cats, they are, I believe, both sincere in their love of God."

I don't believe collective salvation.. What church you go to is not what's going to save your everlasting soul.. Your belief in God, Your faith in Jesus as you lord and savior and your behavior in this life is what will save you.. No matter what church you go to..

There are all sorts of good folks on this planet, and one heck of a lot of bad ones... :)

I think you might have unintentionally taken my comment out of context. I wasn't suggesting collective salvation.

I was saying that listening to Catholics and Protestants fight is preferable to reading comments on another thread where certain Freepers demonstrated their hatred of God (and blasphemed the Bible and, by association, its author).

And, of course, “Be ye DOERS of the word and not hearers only.”

“If you love me, you will KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS.”

Our “Itching Ears Cafeteria” is out of those items, mostly.

“Collective Salvation” is exactly correct.

All (Insert Name of a Denomination) will go to heaven.
I am a (sort of) member of (Insert Name of a Denomination.)
Therefore, I will go to heaven.
