A paradox.
I think that's why God made salvation so simple.
Accept that all have sinned ... a no brainer
Accept that Jesus .. God in the flesh, paid for your sins with his blood.
Is resurrected to life, defeating death and the grave
And accept the free gift of eternal life.
Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Actually, a case can be made that the four Gospels were written before 70 AD. As far as secular sources , Jesus is mentioned in Josephus, the Roman Historian Tacitus, the Bar Kobha letter, Roman Governor Pliny the Younger,and Roman Historian Suetonius, who mentions Jesus and His execution by Pontius Pilate.
