**he’s been playing sold out shows all summer longs at NFL stadiums. 50k-70k people each night, often multiple nights in the same city.**

My wife’s input: if she was actually wearing clothes while singing (like Karen Carpenter), instead of parading in sequined and tassled undergarments/swimsuits, displayed on the big screen, would the male turnout be considerably less?

I said: certainly.

Taylor Swift's costumes are actually pretty tame if you look at them carefully. A lot of skin-colored tights, leggings, etc worn under dresses and bodysuits that are far less revealing than a typical ballerina would wear.

Every stitch she wears on stage has been meticulously engineered to avoid an embarrassing "wardrobe malfunction" that would be photographed from a thousand different angles and spread around the web forever

I'm not sure it could be less without actually dropping to zero. My daughter went to one of the Dallas shows with two friends plus one of the friends' mother and grandmother. They said the vast majority of the crowd was female.
