How do you get from,

"For all we know he had a twinkle in his eye"

TO

"You think he's likely grinning"?

That's an illogical leap, isn't it? Why would you do that?

It's Jesus talking to his mother for heaven's sake. Do you snarl at your mother? Are you brusque with her?

We cannot know his state of mind when He was speaking to his mother, but we can only imagine how much He loves her. Also, we do know that she wasn't deterred in the slightest.

Are you a troll just trying to stir up trouble...trying to pick a fight? You do realize that Jesus is watching, don't you?

Okay, so you believe when someone has a “twinkle” in their eye, they are mad, happy, jesting, or what, exactly?

Or do you simply believe it was the way the light shown in His eyes, that day?
