That was mighty nice of them, but what they said was, it was much more ideal, to be a priest or a nun. Think of how much easier it is to serve God as a priest of nun. Imagine the thrill of forgiving other people of their sins. What a thrill that is.
One of the perish priests asked my dad, if he thought I might be interested in the priesthood. I just said I hadn’t thought about it.
